Addendum to the July 18th Greens Way Board Meeting
Discussion on removing the trees on the west side was not voted on at the meeting and decided to be reviewed. Some members were unsure of the property lines of the association and that of the golf course. The board members met on July 20th on the west side behind the homes of Wilkerson and Read. After looking at the property stakes it was determined that this is association property. There was also supporting information from Kim Wilkerson, who was here when ground was broken for the homes built in 2000 and 2001.The retaining wall was put up by the developer as this section of land was excavated. The retaining wall is not the property line. The property line is to the west of the evergreen trees. As stated at the previous meeting, that is why the golf course mows on the west side of the trees and our association lawn service mows on the east side up to the retaining wall. The officers and board members present were Mike Lindeman, Jerry Bair, Karol Cooper, Linda Miller, Ron Davis, Elaine Read, Paul Zimmerman and Elaine Blick. A vote was taken, and the tree removal was approved with the work to be done by WPM tree service.
It was also decided that the tree behind 1618 and the stump behind 1646 would be removed.
Linda Miller, who has been working with Derek Groth from Kelly Tree Service, presented a revised estimate for planting approximately twelve new trees on the association grounds. It was voted on to proceed with the order and schedule the planting of the trees. The owners of the homes where the new trees will be planted will be notified and given instructions on how much water to provide the new tree before frost. If the owner is unable to do the watering, arrangements will be made to do this.
Sethu Rathinam (1515) has requested approval to add a sunroom addition to the back side of his home. He submitted elevation and plan models provided by the builder, Legacy Home Improvements. This was approved and work will begin this fall.
