10-16-18

President Larry Cooper opened the meeting at 6:40 pm. Minutes from the meeting on 2017 were read by Brian Barnes and approved.

Finances
Karol went over the Green's financial statements. All finances are in good shape. The books were inspected and approved by Rick
Sager, Trust Officer with Cedar Rapids Trust Bank. She explained that the reserve fund is for major expenses. If anyone would like
to have monthly dues automatically deducted contact Karol for the information. DJ Smith made a motion to approve the treasurer's
report and Sally Orf seconded the motion. The motion was approved.

The Holiday Walk this December will need volunteers to open their home for one evening. It is not necessary to be a master
decorator, but it is a chance to get together and enjoy a social outing. Other events such as the Chili/Soup Cookoff and the
annual picnic will need volunteers as well. The annual dumpster continues to be a success, so we will continue with it for
the next year.

Larry thanked all the people that contribute to the success of the Greens.

Larry reminded us that with winter coming upon us to be sure so have your cars out of the drive way when the snow plows come around.

Larry reflected on the last nine years.
We are financially sound. All the roofs have been done. The Holidays Walks have been successful. We had a beautiful wedding in the
Commons area. LED lights are being used when necessary. The rain sensors have been replaced and new boxes installed, new zones are
being established.

General Business
Mary Roseberry talked about the Green's book club "The Bookies". Any one is welcome men and women. We meet the third Thursday of
the month at 6:30PM. We discuss recent books that we have read and various authors that we like and of course have a snack.

New Business
Paul said they will be looking into the drainage problem in the Commons area and see what the best solution is.
Lou asked about the trimming of the trees.
Bill Nixon explained about the new website.

Election of Officers
Paul Zimmerman was the only one running for President, Karol Cooper for Treasurer, Donna Zimmerman for Secretary. Abbie Smith,
Barb Patschke, Martha Parks and Rosie Turnis were running for the board.
Since Paul was on the board he had to give up his seat and that left 4 openings on the board so all four people running for the
board were elected. Since no one ran for Vice President it will be filled later from the board.
Paul Zimmerman - President
To be determined - Vice President
Karol Cooper - Treasurer
Donna Zimmerman - Secretary
New Board Members. Abby Smith, Barb Patchke, Martha Parks, Rosie Turnis.
Jerry Bair moved to accept the new board and DJ seconded it. Motion was passed.

Thank you to the board members whose terms are up for their support to the Green's. Bob Assink, Jerry Bair and Rosie Turnis.
A special thank you to Larry Cooper and Brian Barnes for serving as president and vice president. You have accomplished and
have showed so much dedication and going above and beyond your duties over the last 9 years. It is very much appreciated by all
the residents of the Green's.

Bob Miller motioned that the meeting be adjourned, and Paul Zimmerman seconded it. The 2018 Green's Annual meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM Secretary; Donna Zimmerman
