THE GREEN'S ANNUAL MEETING

The Greens Annual Meeting October 16, 2019

There were 31 residenses represented at the meeting at St. Pius Church.
President Paul Zimmerman opened the meeting at 5:50 P.M.

Paul explained the salt or no salt, and the fall trimming lists that were passed around.

At 6:00 P.M. Kari Klien, our State Farm Insurance Agent for the Association explained what our policy covers and answered questions.

At 630 P.M. Paul recognized officers and board members. Karol Cooper, Bill Nixon, Donna Zimmerman, Martha Parks, Abbie Smith, Bob Miller,
Elaine Blick, Rosie Turnis, Sally Orf, Sally Taylor and Elaine Read.

Finances: Karol Cooper explained that the books were audited by Rick Slager Trust officer with Cedar Rapids Trust Bank. She handed out copies
of the treasurer’s report. We spent a lot of money this year. If anyone would like to have their dues automatically deducted from their bank,
please contact Karol. Motion to accept the treasurer’s report was made by Lois Hinkley and seconded by DJ Smith. Motion approved.

Paul thanked the members of the board for all that they do.
Ladies Luncheon and Movies –Elaine Blick, Greens Breakfast-Kathy Stepleton, Greens Picnic-Bob and Linda Miler, Kim Barnes for entrance plants
and all volunteers for watering plants. Water Issues-Bob Miller and Abbie Smith.

Volunteers are needed for the Holiday walk this December and the Chili-Soup cook off in February.

DJ Smith said our association by laws state that the President and Secretary may or may not get to vote. The members voted to allow these
officers to vote as directors. DJ made a motion to allow it and Lois Hinkley seconded it. Motion approved.

Election of Officers: Jerry Bair was elected as President and Mary Emerson was elected as Vice President. Both for one year. Mike Lindeman was
elected to the board for one year to finish Sally Taylor’s term. She had filled out 2019 for Barb Patschke’s term. Elaine Blick and Elaine Read
were re-elected to the board for three years. Bob Assink was elected to the board for three years. Linda Miller was elected as secretary and Karol
Cooper was reelected as treasurer.

Jerry Bair thanked the board members and Paul Zimmerman for their contributions and time serving. Board meetings will be held at the Hiawatha
Public Library with the first one on November 6th at 2:00 P.M.

Karol Cooper thanked Paul for serving this last year as President.
Thanks to everyone past or present for their time spent on the board or as an officer and to everyone who contributed their time helping with
different things to keep our association working well.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting and seconded.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 P.M.
