2021 Greens Way Annual HOA Meeting

The meeting was called to order by President Brian Barnes by welcoming everyone, with thirty- eight people in attendance. Brian stated that it had been a difficult year after the hailstorm and Derecho

damage. All roofs have been replaced and most of the siding repaired. Brian acknowledged all the work that Jerry Bair has done working with State Farm Insurance.  Brian also applauded Bill Ham and Forrest Parks for so much of the lawn and landscaping work that was done this past year.

 

Brian stated that the association had spent a lot of money on necessary repairs the past year with the most recent being the repair of two fire hydrants at the cost of $14,500. Although an assessment of the residents has never been done he stated that there is the possibility of raising the monthly dues to avoid future assessment situations.

 

Last years meeting was cancelled because of the Covid 19 Pandemic so voting was done by delivering all residents ballots. The results from last year were read by Linda Miller. The results of the 2021-2022 election are as follows:

President-Michael Lindeman(1514)

Vice President- Jerry Bair(1646)

Treasurer-Karol Cooper (1548)

Secretary-Linda Miller (1556)

Paul Zimmerman-(1536) 2 Year Term 21-23

Ron Davis-(1650) 3 Year Term 21-24

Sally Orf-(1641) 3 Year Term

Diana Holland-1634) 3 Year Term

 

Remaining board members are Elaine Blick,Elaine Read, Sally Taylor and Bob Assink.

 

Karol Cooper -Treasurer handed out the year-end financial report and stated that the books had been audited by Rick Segar of Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust and everything was found to be in order. The financial report and budget were approved.   Karol said that anyone is welcome to look at the books anytime.

 

List were provided for residents to sign-up for fall trimming of bushes and winter salt use on driveways.

 

Brian thanked everyone for coming and he was applauded for his past years work.
