2022 Greens Way Annual HOA Meeting

4:00PM to 6:30PM

Residents arrived at 4:00 and enjoyed visiting and enjoyed a potluck dinner and Loosie sandwiches. Thank you to Jerry and Janet Bair for organizing the food and this event.

The meeting was called to order by President Mike Lindeman by welcoming everyone with 36 residents in attendance. Mike wanted to thank Jerry Bair for all the guidance and advice he received in the past year. Jerry has decided to retire his position but will certainly be available for any questions. Mike also thanked all the past officers and board members for the last year of service.

Linda Miller read the minutes from the 2021 meeting.

Linda Miller stated that at the board meeting in June she had brought up the idea to replace some of the trees that were lost during the Derecho. A quote was gotten from Kelly Tree Farm to replace twelve trees at the cost of $4026.62.

This was approved by the board after the July 18^th meeting. The resident address numbers who will be receiving trees are the following:

1500,1526,1523/1527,1535,1610/1616,1606,1608,1625,1629,1632/1637,1638, and two in the berm area. Plantings will either be in the front or back yard or between homes. Residents were told that they would be responsible for watering the trees before it frosts. Of course, some of the board members will also help with this task.

Karol presented the Treasurer Report.

1. Rick Segar reviewed the financial records and verified all were accurate.

2. Reports/spreadsheets were handed out and explained.

3. The reserve and money market funds were combined and labeled “Money

Market Reserve” as of October 1.

4. Reports were accepted with a vote.

Karol stated that Ron Davis had been helping her revise the spread sheet to make it easier to understand. She also stated that if anyone had any questions to please get in touch with her.

Mike announced the upcoming officers and board members:

President: Mike Lindeman

Vice President: Bill Ham

Treasurer: Karol Cooper

Secretary: Linda Miller

Board Members: Elaine Read, Paul Zimmerman, Ron Davis, Nora Becker, Bruce Ray and Sethu Rathinam.

All nominees were approved by a show of hands.

Mike wanted to thank retiring board members, Elaine Blick and Sally Orf for their past years of serving on the board.

Mike mentioned that we would like volunteers to decorate the front entrance for the Holiday season. If you are interested, please let one of the board members know.

The next board meeting will be held on November 7^th at the Hiawatha Library.
