The Green's Association
Board Meeting Highlights
Thursday, April 1, 2010 @ 7PM

Meeting was held at the residence of Brian Barnes.
In attendance: Brian Barnes - President; Larry Cooper - Vice President; Mary White - Secretary; Sally Taylor - Treasurer;
Norman Stepleton - Board Member; Bill Nixon - Board Member; Rosie Turnis - Board Member; Jean Ogden - Board Member

Meeting called to address approval to replace roof on 1556 Greens Way Ct NE. Bids submitted by EIC $6500 and Four Star $6450.
EIC has taken great care and consideration for The Greens and Larry Cooper motioned to accept the bid from EIC, Bill Nixon seconded
the motion and all in favor.

Moved on to general discussion. Spring cleanup will be completed in the next few weeks by Clean-Cut. Some clean-up has started, such
as sweeping up the sand left from winter. There will be a sprinkler check completed as well. Discussed a separate bid received from Fleming,
to place sensors on the sprinkler system ($2135). These sensors are known to be reliable and would greatly improve water efficiency. Sprinklers
would monitor when watering is necessary, savings many gallons of water and money. Rosie Turnis motioned to purchase the sensors and Jean
Ogden seconded the motion, unanimous approval. Payback for these sensors would occur likely within one watering season.

A neighborhood picnic was addressed. Sunday, July 18th was selected for the date at 6PM. Possibly to be held in the courtyard, yet this will be
decided closer to the picnic date. The Association will provide sloppy joes and buns. Residents shall provide a dish to share, table service and
beverage of choice. Any resident with large folding tables will be encouraged to loan them for the occasion.

Mary White agreed to go door to door this spring to collect a current neighborhood directory. Once assembled , the updated list will be posted to
our website and will be delivered to each residence.

Brian Barnes will contact Paul Pate to ask for assistance with repairing some cracks in the road.

Briefly discussed beautifying our grounds with some flowers and plants. The concern was determining who would do the upkeep. Decided to plant
some flowers at the entrance to Greens Way, and consider different ideas next year.

The board agreed to meet again June 7th at 7PM. All residents will be invited and encouraged to attend. We have new residents who have expressed
interest in being involved in our community.

The Board was very excited to see a reserve fund, a result of the $50 increase in association dues, effective 2/1/2010.

Rosie Turnis motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Larry Cooper and unanimous decision by all members.
