Board Meeting
Monday, January 31st, 2011 @ 7PM

Meeting was held at the residence of Brian Barnes (1621).
In attendance: Brian Barnes - President; Larry Cooper - Vice President; Mary White - Secretary; Karol Cooper - Treasurer;
Sally Orf - Board Member; Betty Schulte - Board Member; Bill Nixon - Resident; D J Smith - Resident; Jack Read - Board Member

Meeting opened and addressed the last meeting minutes, to review outstanding issues.
  Move-In fees for units 1536 & 1633 have been received
  We are still in need of someone to step up and be a contact person for the Grounds Committee
  Brian Barnes will follow-up with repair to cracks in streets that need repair, in the Spring
  Brian Barnes will also follow-up on having the dead tree removed behind #1632
  An informal meeting with an insurance agent will be rescheduled later this spring, by Larry Cooper
  Jack Read has received a few suggestions for a neighborhood newsletter

Moved first to the Treasurer's report by Karol Cooper. All bills are paid to date.

  2 CD's    $6,868.19 Monthly renewal at .1%

A ruling in regard to the roof issue on unit #1622 was returned and The Greens Association is responsible for the
$2295 in repairs. DJ Smith with contact 4 Star Roofing to determine if they will make a partial contribution, as
they are listed as equally responsible. Although, it was said The Greens should own the majority of this claim.
Thank you to DJ for all of his assitance the 2 1/2 years, working on this issue on behalf of The Greens.

DJ Smith attended the beginning of this meeting to suggest we put together a By-Law Committee. Many of our homes
are quickly approaching 15-17 years old and will start to have general maintenance needs. Our by-laws have not been
reviewed since 2002 and agreed there are many gray areas to be addressed. A committee formed: Betty Schulte, Sally
Orf, and Larry Cooper. DJ will assist with the legal writing and all proposed changes will need to be presented,
reviewed and passed by the Board of Directors. The first meeting to start the process will be Feb. 8th.

Meeting was motioned for adjournment, seconded and carried, at 8:30PM.
