Paul Zimmerman. Excused Absence - Karol Cooper and Sally Taylor
FLOWERS IN ENTRANCE
We discussed the flowerpots at the entrance of the greens. Kim Barnes has volunteered to do the entrance again. It is always
so beautiful, and we thank Kim and the faithful people who water it. It was decided to give Kim a $350.00 budget to work with.
Elaine Read made a motion to give Kim the budget of $350.00 and Bill Nixon seconded it. The motion passed.
MILLERS SKYLIGHTS
The Millers have had problems with their skylights leaking. It was requested by the board that they get an estimate from
D & D roofing. D & D is the company that takes care of our roofing issues. Since the skylights were in when they moved into
their unit, the Association will pay for replacement (If needed) up to the figure on D & D's quote. Elaine Blick motioned to
pay for the skylights and Sally Orf seconded it. The motion passed.
GARAGE SALE
Phyllis Anderson will be moving by the end of April. We wish her well in her move and will certainly miss her. She asked if
she could have permission to have a moving garage sale. The garage sale will be sometime in April. Anyone who is interested
in having one at this time should contact Phyllis for details. The request was approved by the board.
COMMONS AREA
We discussed some of the problems in the Commons area, water standing, poor drainage, and low spots. We have a person who is
looking at this area and will come up with some ideas on what we could do to improve that area. Flemings (the company that
takes care of our irrigation system) also does tiling work. Paul Zimmerman will contact them once the snow is gone and the area
dries out and have them give us a quote for installing tiles. In addition, when we start watering the lawn's, the run times for
both the Commons area and the sprinklers that border the Commons area will be reduced by 10 minutes. It is hoped that we can
reduce some of the standing water by doing that. We will also watch the area to make sure that the lawn is not getting overly dry.
LAWN PROBLEMS DUE TO SNOW REMOVAL
The Commons area and some other areas suffered some damage from plowing with all the snow we had. I have talked to Flemings and
damage to the lawn will be taken care of when it can be done. That may not be until late May.
Paul Zimmerman
Paul and Donna Zimmerman will be on vacation from March 30 to May 9th. Karol Cooper will be the contact for Paul in his absence.
You still will be able to call Paul on his cell phone if you want. Paul will contact you when it is time to turn the water on and
if you should have any questions about that process, give Bill Nixon a call.
TREATMENT OF TREES FOR THE ASH BORER
Elaine Blick said she has heard from Arbor care, which is the company that has been treating our ash trees. The treatment would
be in the first part of May. Sally Orf made a motion to do the treatment and Abbie Smith seconded it. The motion passed.
Bill Nixon made a motion to end the meeting and Bob Miller seconded it. The motion was joyfully passed.
