The treasurer’s report was given by Karol Cooper and accepted by the board as read.
The minutes of the last meeting were accepted as presented.
Larry Cooper reported on the ongoing attention to the storm damaged suffered by our community and efforts made to resolve
and repair those units that suffered damage. A plan is in place to begin maintenance and repair this summer. One board
member asked if the monthly dues could be reduced and it was the consensus that it was not likely at his time.
An estimate has been requested to repair our streets. It should be forthcoming and repairs are likely to be done this summer.
Miscellaneous repairs are needed on several units and are planned to be started as soon as the weather allows.
There will be a meeting with the insurance agent that supplies the coverage for our association. All residents are invited to
attend so they may review this information with their personal insurance providers.
Jack Read presented the preliminary information on the proposed Neighborhood Watch program. It was decided to continue with
this inquiry.
The bylaws committee reported on their efforts up to now and reported that much work was yet to be done.
Discussion was held to determine dates for our summer events which include the garage sale, our picnic, our general membership
meeting, and an all residents work day. It was pointed out that the people hired to rake leaves get $65 /hour and much could be
saved if we did some of this ourselves.
The Central Park is to be sprayed with pre-emergent herbicide to control the thistles and the mulch will be updated.
The meeting was adjourned.
