President Bair introduced the board members and talked about the items listed on the agenda. He suggested that we no longer need to
list the name of the person making a motion and that was in agreement with all.
The next board meeting will be on Tuesday March 3rd 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Hiawatha Library. Everyone agreed that it is a convenient
meeting room.
The minutes from the last board meeting on Sept 17th were read and Abbie stated that she was not on the current lawn committee. A motion
was made to approve the minutes and was seconded.
A letter from Kim Wilkerson was passed around stating her appreciation to the water committee for the research and to the board for
approving the tiling work project which has resolved the water from pooling in her yard.

Rules and Regulations:
A committee was formed to review the rules and regulations to determine if there should be some changes and possibly clarification of
some of the language. The following members are Jerry Bair, Elaine Read, Karol Cooper, Sally Orf and Rose Turnis.

Late Payment Fees:
Karol Cooper related to the board that there are some people that are continually late with their monthly dues. Karol would like to see
everyone make payments online, but there are some without computers. A $25 late fee was discussed but could be difficult to collect.
Sending out an automatic monthly e-mail alerting that your payment is due might be helpful. Karol said that for now she will put up a
sign near the mailboxes as a reminder.

Chili Supper:
Jerry wanted to know if the board thought the Chili Supper should continue and a motion was made and seconded to have the event again.
Paul Zimmerman will coordinate this and it will most likely be sometime in February.

Christmas Walk:
Sunday December 8th from 5 to 8.

Updates to Contractor List:
If someone would like to add a service contactor to the list please send this to Bill Nixon with the type of work they do with full name
and phone number.

Lawn Committee:
This past year there were a lot of unhappy residents with the quality of the lawn services provided by Greg’s Lawn and Landscaping. A lawn
committee was formed consisting of Elaine Blick, Sally Orf and Rosie Turnis. They have been in contact with several companies and they find
that it is difficult to compare services based on the contract from Greg’s. We do not have a 2019 contract and Jerry stated that to cancel
the lawn contract this needs to be done by 11-15. Jerry and Karol will meet with Greg’s as soon as possible and get the contract and then
another board meeting will be needed to decide what route to take.

Future Damage Made by Snow Removal Contractor:
Jerry stated that he would be sending a letter holding them liable for damage done by snow equipment. We in turn need to be sure that we have
prompt reporting of said damage with documentation and photos for back-up.

Memorials:
A discussion regarding sending memorials to residents was discussed and it was decided to send $50 if it is a residents spouse or the memorial
will be sent to the family. Motion was made and seconded.

Retention Of Greens Way Papers:
Karol Cooper stated that they had several boxes of old bills and other Greens related papers. It was decided to keep only those that are no
more than 7 years old and dispose of the rest. All treasurer and secretary reports are on the website.

Rules and Regulations:

Need to amend the by-laws to include that the President and Secretary have voting rights as directors.
