Agenda:

  1. Use of remaining storm money.

  2. Report on expenses.

  3. Bank service charge.

  4. Resident emergency contact numbers.

  5. The repair of the sidewalk.

  6. Seal the cracks in the cement in the street.

  7. Irrigation person.



Minutes from the July 18th meeting were read and approved.


The remaining money from the Derecho storm fund was discussed. It was decided that some of it should go into the normal reserve fund and the rest used to purchase a CD. Karol will research this for the best rate of return. She will let the board know and vote of this purchase.

Karol presented us with a spread sheet of past expenses and some of the expected expenses yet this fall. The first being the bill to Cutting Edge for the treatment of the Nutsedge grass, along with the new tree plantings, the underground filling and driveway repair at 1514, and trim painting where it is needed.


The Greens Way insurance will increase by $321 a month at renewal.


Our association bank is now charging an $8 a day charge if the balance is below $2500.Karol is carefully monitoring this to avoid these additional charges.


It was suggested to add an emergency contact name and phone number on the website next to our phone numbers and email addresses. This is optional but could be useful if needed.


We are still in need of doing some concrete repair and Linda Miller will get in touch with Geode Concrete to see if this can still be done this fall.

Will also check on the asphalt repair on the street.


In a previous meeting Paul Zimmerman stated that he would not oversee the irrigation again, but when the subject was brought up, he has now decided to volunteer again, with Jerry Bair assisting him.


We have three people in various positions who will be leaving the board. Jerry will be sending out a message asking for resident’s assistance in filling these vacancies.


The Annual Board meeting open to all residents will be on Sunday October 16th. The location will we sent out later.
