Green's Board Meeting
September 14, 2015

Members Present:
Larry Cooper- president
Brian Barnes- vice president
Karol Cooper- treasurer
Elaine Read- secretary
Board members- Rosie Turnis, Jack Read, Sally Orf,
Norm Stepleton, Bill Nixon and Bob Assink.
Other member in attendance, Bill Ham.

Larry started the meeting at 6:45pm.
The first thing on the agenda was a discussion of trees to be taken down in our neighborhood in the
next few days.
1620-Christy and Phil, 1618-Hinz, 1511-Sally T. - trim trees
1536-Zimmerman, 1646-Bair- tree removal at their expense
1645- Blick- in back
1632- Turnis - tree removal

John Mescher sent an email to Larry about possible roof damage from a brief storm earlier this
summer. It will be checked out.

The insurance for the Green's has gone up about $2,600 a year through State Farm. The board
felt this was acceptable given that most other agencies do not want to insure us under the present
guidelines. We currently have coverage for each occurrence instead of for each unit affected by an
event, which is a benefit to us.

Liability insurance for the board was also discussed. It was felt this was a necessary safeguard to
have in place and the cost is reasonable. The insurance carrier will let us know the exact cost.

The lawn service will return to spray weeds/Creeping Charlie that survived after the first treatment.

Officers on the board have agreed to serve another term. Gerald Bair, Bob Assink, and Rosie Turnis
also agreed to continue as board members. Larry will send out a notice dealing with the board officers
before the annual meeting on October 8. He will also send out directions to the new Shriner's
building where the meeting will be held and asked others to provide shuttle service to those that would
rather not drive.

Jack Read decided to give up his spot on the board, which will become effective on October 8, 2015.
He has enjoyed his time on the board but felt there were others in the neighborhood that wanted to
become involved. The board accepted his resignation. Bill Ham expressed interest in becoming a board
member. Rosie made a motion to appoint Bill to the remaining term of Jack's board position, which
is two years. It was seconded by Bill Nixon and the motion was approved by the board.

The trees at the west end parking area will be replaced first thing next spring. Plants for the entrance
area should also be arriving soon.

Bob asked about the broken edging in his yard. Larry will take a look at the location and determine if
it is an owner responsibility or the associations.

Elaine Read brought up the possibility of security cameras for our area. Elaine and Bob will do some
research and see what costs are involved and how/what type of system would work for us.

Karol told the board that the finances were up to date and a summary can be found on the website. Sally
Orf and Gerald Bair volunteered to review the books before the annual meeting.

Brian made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:45pm and was seconded by Sally Orf.

Thank you Sally Orf for helping with the minutes.
